House cleaning companies. The cleaning homepage has a quote form hero, a services checklist, recurring-plan savings from your price file, a booking card and the service areas in tabs.
Multi-trade home services. The main homepage has service cards by trade, a review carousel, a quote form and FAQ, with a page per service that lists what is and is not included.
Commercial and office cleaning. The commercial homepage leads every button to a walkthrough request form or the phone, with industry pages, team portraits, a photo collage and a review spotlight with client logos.

Homio includes AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, GEMINI.md, rules for Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, and SKILLS.md with recipes for adding pages, switching layouts, adding a language and rebranding. Text, menus, prices and section options live in Markdown, TOML and JSON files, so most changes are content edits.

- Online payments, deposits or checkout. The estimator and plans show prices from your rates.
- Scheduling, dispatch, calendar sync or CRM software. The booking form sends a request, and you confirm each visit.
- Customer accounts or a client portal.
- A CMS. Content lives in files in your repository.

FAQ
How does the instant estimator work? Each bookable service has a rate card in one price file: by bedrooms and bathrooms, by the hour or per item, with a minimum charge. Visit frequencies set recurring discounts, and add-ons have fixed prices. It shows a price from your rates, not a live quote.
Can customers pay or book a confirmed time slot? No. The five-step booking request checks the postal code against your service areas and blocks dates outside your rules, but takes no payment and has no calendar sync. You confirm each visit by phone or text.
Where do booking and contact requests go? To Formsubmit, Formspree or Netlify Forms, chosen in config.toml with your endpoint. Bookings can go to a separate endpoint. Without JavaScript the booking form shows as one page and still submits.
How do service areas work? Each area is one file with its postal codes and neighborhoods. Homio builds a page per area, the area finder, the Areas menu, the postal-code check on the booking form and the service area in the structured data.
Can I run the site in English only? Yes. One script removes French, and the site builds in English only. To add a language, copy and translate the English content, menu and interface files.
What do I need installed? Node.js 22.12 or newer and npm. Install with npm ci, preview with npm run dev and build with npm run build.
