Quarry Pro

A marketing site and a documentation site on one grid: numbered margins, search, changelog, one measure.

Quarry Pro moves the marketing site and the manual of a developer tool onto the discipline of a printed technical reference. What fills the screen is rules and numbers rather than cards and shadows. Sections are numbered, and the number hangs in the left margin while the section scrolls, so a reader always knows where they are. One 38rem measure carries the hero, the pricing table and the documentation body alike, so the typesetting does not break when a visitor crosses from marketing into the manual. One accent colour carries the numbers, the current position and the focus ring, and nothing else is coloured.

What is included

  • The whole documentation site: sidebar groups, a contents list, breadcrumbs, prev/next and edit links
  • Pagefind search over the marketing pages, the documentation and the posts: a /search page and a keyboard dialog
  • Code blocks for a manual: filename captions, marked lines, a copy button, and language tabs with no client JavaScript
  • Callouts and parameter tables as components, and a changelog page with its own feed
  • Pricing read twice: a monthly/yearly switch and a comparison matrix, both without client JavaScript
  • Series, author blocks and related reading for posts, and a share card drawn at build time for every page
  • Four colour presets, dark mode, RSS, sitemap, JSON-LD and an analytics slot (Plausible, GA4, Umami)
  • AGENTS.md, so Claude Code, Cursor and other AI tools know where to edit
