Coffer turns an Obsidian vault into a notebook of short, linked notes. Links open in panes beside the note you came from, footnotes sit in the margin as sidenotes, and every note ends with the notes that link to it.
Bring the vault you already have:
- Copy your notes in, folders and attachments included, and add publish: true to the ones you want online. Everything else stays private and is never read by the build.
- Links resolve the way Obsidian resolves them: wikilinks, Markdown links, heading links, and embeds, in any link format.
- The file name is the title, and URLs come from file names, so moving a note between folders never breaks its address.
- Inline #tags and nested tags get their own pages, and Obsidian Publish’s permalink, description, and cover properties work too.
Obsidian Bases, on the web:
- A base in a code block or an embedded .base file renders at build time as a table, cards, or a list, with your filters, formulas, sorting, and grouping.
Also included:
- Stacked panes whose trail lives in the URL, so it can be shared and Back works
- Sidenotes, backlinks, link previews on hover, and a graph view
- Search, tag pages, RSS, a sitemap, and generated social images
- Callouts, math, Mermaid diagrams, embedded notes, and comments that never reach the site
- Light and dark modes
