Switchboard is a job board you can launch this week, with no database and no backend.
Every job is one Markdown file in src/content/jobs/. Drop a file in and you get a routed detail page, a card on the board, and an entry in the RSS feed. Delete the file and it is gone. There is no admin panel and nothing to back up.
The schema is enforced at build time. A missing company, a bad employment type, or a category that is not in your config fails the build and names the file, so a broken listing cannot reach the board.
Search, category, type and location filter instantly, with no search index, no API and no key to configure. Every listing is rendered into the HTML and the script only hides non-matches, so the board still works with JavaScript disabled, crawlers see every job rather than an empty shell, and filters mirror into the URL so a filtered board is a shareable link. It stays fast to roughly 500 listings, well past launch scale.
The verification gate ships inside the download. Run npm run gate and it installs, typechecks, builds, audits dependencies, serves the site, runs Lighthouse, and runs 11 named browser assertions. The numbers are its current output, not marketing copy, and you can re-run it after you have modified the template, which is when it actually matters.
