Orrery is a free Astro theme for consultants and small B2B service firms: a dark site with large light type and one lime accent. The demo is a fictional five-person data and strategy consultancy, Quillmoor Analytics.
The home page moves as you scroll. Service cards start as a staircase and pull up into a grid, flipping in from flat; statements fill line by line; a panel slides in from the screen edge; titles tilt into place. Thirteen effects in all, built with CSS and three tiny scripts, no animation library, and all of them stop for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
What you get: one config file for the name, contact details, hours, hero counters, accent color and form key; services as Markdown files; a contact form that shows "Message received" only when the form backend answers success: true and shows an error otherwise; it still works without JavaScript. Static pages, one self-hosted font (Questrial), labels on every field, visible focus and AA contrast. Lighthouse mobile: 99-100 / 100 / 100 / 100.
The form works out of the box with a free Formgong access key. No build step needed if you prefer: the latest release includes plain HTML files. Built with Astro 7, Tailwind CSS 4 and TypeScript; Deploy to Cloudflare and Vercel buttons are in the README.
