Marea — Premium Astro Theme for Restaurants & Bars

Marea is a refined, single-page Astro website theme designed for restaurants, cafés, wine bars, cocktail bars, and independent hospitality venues.

Created by Vlavera Studio, Marea combines editorial typography, atmospheric imagery, structured food and drink presentation, and practical venue information in a focused one-page experience.

The fictional demonstration presents Marea as a contemporary restaurant and bar concept, bringing the dining room, changing board, drinks offering, private room, and venue identity together within one cohesive site.

Key Features

  • Restaurant and bar presentation: Designed to give the dining room and drinks programme equal visual importance
  • Changing board: Configurable presentation for two menus, a set menu, and accompanying food photography
  • Food and drink menus: Dedicated content for the restaurant's food offering and bar menu
  • Private dining: A configurable section for a private room, event offer, or special dining experience
  • Editorial hospitality design: Strong typography, restrained layouts, and image-led storytelling suited to premium independent venues
  • Venue information: Editable address, opening hours, and practical visit details
  • Reservation calls to action: Configurable booking destination for an external reservation platform, WhatsApp, telephone, or email
  • Restaurant timezone and schedule controls: Configure the restaurant's timezone and weekdays when no board is shown
  • Static Astro architecture: Built with Astro, TypeScript, and plain CSS without Tailwind or a UI component library

Customization

Marea is designed for developers, designers, and agencies building websites for independent hospitality businesses.

Changes to the page layout, section order, colour palette, typography, or additional language support require source-code modifications.

  • TypeScript 5.9.3
  • Plain CSS without Tailwind
  • Self-hosted fonts installed through Fontsource packages
  • Vitest 3.2.7 for testing
  • Node.js 24.x and npm 11 or newer
  • Deployment tested through Vercel's Git integration

Pricing and License

$99 one-time purchase.

The Vlavera Professional License permits unlimited personal and client projects using Marea, subject to its license restrictions.

A buyer may build unlimited websites for themselves or their clients. Finished client projects may be handed over for the client to host, maintain, and modify indefinitely.

Redistribution, resale, or sharing of Marea itself as a theme, template, starter, or reusable source package is prohibited.

Important Information

Marea is a static, single-page, English-language website theme.

It does not include a CMS, booking system, table availability, payment processing, or live reservation management.

The reserve button links to the restaurant's configured external booking or contact destination. Marea does not independently create or manage reservations.

Menu and board content is stored in the project's TypeScript configuration. Updating the menu requires editing the configuration and deploying the site again.

The fictional demonstration uses AI-generated placeholder imagery. These images must be replaced with media the buyer has the rights to use before a commercial website goes live.

The production build requires a canonical site URL. When deployed through the documented Vercel Git integration, that configuration is handled as part of the deployment workflow.

Deployment has been tested through Vercel's Git integration. Other hosting environments are not covered by the stated testing.

Marea is built for developers and creative studios seeking an editorial alternative to conventional restaurant templates while keeping the content model simple and the final website lightweight.
