Cohestra is an editorial Astro theme for course creators, cohort programs and creator-led schools. Warm ivory and near-black, serif display type, and layouts that give a curriculum room to breathe.

Motion with a light touch
A cursor image trail in the hero, line-by-line text reveals, parallax media and cards that tilt under the pointer. The founders stack pins as you scroll, the journal ticker rolls, testimonial portraits open through a WebGL noise mask, and a WebGL particle membrane sits behind the footer call to action. Smooth scrolling via Lenis. Everything stands down under <code>prefers-reduced-motion</code> while the layout stays intact.
Easy to customize
Each journal article is one Markdown file with typed frontmatter, and an optional Sveltia CMS is in the box. Courses, plans, FAQs, testimonials, tutors and the rest of the copy sit in one JSON file, so adding a course is data entry, not layout work. Colors and type are tokens in a single stylesheet, so the whole site shifts with one change.
