Estate is a complete Astro real estate website template for boutique brokerages, independent agents and small listing teams — the kind of practice that represents ten to two hundred carefully chosen properties rather than running a high-volume search portal. Every listing, agent, neighborhood and journal article is a content file you edit, which means you can launch a credible brokerage site without a CMS subscription, a database or a developer on retainer. Its real advantage is relational content: a listing knows its agent and its neighborhood, an agent knows their own listings and articles, and each page renders both sides of that relationship automatically. Add one file and the listings grid, the agent profile, the area guide and the JSON feed all update together.
The design is light and editorial — deep navy for structure and authority, warm copper used sparingly for prices and highlights, and a warm neutral stone palette for everything in between, with Playfair Display over Inter for a typographic voice closer to a property magazine than a tech dashboard. It was built for the work a brokerage actually does: presenting a listing properly with a gallery and the full specification, letting a buyer filter inventory without waiting on a page reload, giving each agent a profile that earns referrals, answering "what is this neighborhood like" with real numbers, and capturing viewing requests and valuation enquiries. It answers the practical problems too — no API keys to maintain, no MLS integration required before launch, accessible contrast throughout, and no CDN requests leaving a visitor's browser.
🎨 Design DNA
- Property magazines and sales brochures — the generous leading, the serif headings and the restrained use of a single accent colour are borrowed from print, where a photograph has to carry the page.
- Architecture and gallery websites — images are given room to breathe, and chrome stays out of their way.
- Established brokerage identity — deep navy reads as institutional and trustworthy, which is what a buyer is actually assessing when spending seven figures.
- Copper as a signal, not decoration — the accent appears on prices, rules and calls to action, and almost nowhere else, so it keeps meaning something.
- Editorial neighborhood guides — area pages are written like a local column with statistics attached, rather than a block of SEO filler.
- Specification sheets — the listing detail page borrows its structure from how a surveyor or architect presents a building: facts first, in a scannable grid.
