Atelier Kō is a quiet, editorial Astro theme built for small furniture ateliers, craft studios, independent makers, and curated product brands. It presents a complete storefront experience — homepage, catalogue, product detail pages, about page, and cart — through mostly static HTML with small vanilla JavaScript enhancements for filtering, the product gallery, newsletter preview, and local cart.
Products are managed through Astro content collections using Markdown files, making it easy to add, edit, or remove pieces without touching component code. Categories and materials are derived automatically from the product files and populate the catalogue filters. The theme ships with six demo products across seating, shelving, tables, and storage, all routed through Astro's image pipeline for optimized delivery.
